Hi is a J24, an easy-to-sail 24ft keelboat.
A J24's flared top sides make her dry on deck, with a small cabin to keep you warm and she can be sailed easily by one person
with only the mainsail.
It is 'One Design'. The International J24 is built in the US, Japan, Australia and Italy and has more than 50,000 people sailing 5,200 boats in 150 fleets in more than 40 countries.
J24’s are currently raced in Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
Australia is now in its 27th year of J24 competition. There are national events every year.
Hi was built in 1991 by North Shore Yachts, out of the one piece Bashford Mould. This boat is fully optimised and is minimum weight.
